Syllabus of Advanced Yoga Teacher Training

This is a 300-hour yoga Teacher Training Course. It is an intensive residential immersion for Yoga teachers.

This course is structured based on four essential layers of teaching and practice of Yoga.

The entire training focuses majorly on the following aspects of practice.

Syllabs
Ardha-Matsyendrasana.jpeg

Hatha Yoga

Traditional Hatha Yoga practices make your fundamentals strong and help you in exploring traditional Hatha Yoga practice methods.

Residential-Yoga-Teacher-Training.jpeg

Yin Yoga

In a world where asana practice is increasingly becoming body-oriented, Yin Yoga is of great help in exploring emotions and bringing psychological transformation. Yin Yoga can be magical if you know how to teach it.

Props Yoga - Advance training.jpg

Props Yoga

Props in Yoga help the teacher to prepare the students with proper alignment. Props are a great help if you know how to use them. During this training, we are going to explore a little deeper than the 200-Hour training.

Ayurveda

In 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you might have practised and trained to teach asanas in general. You will also know how to teach yoga classes for different levels.

However, each individual is different based on the body types, i.e. Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Not everyone has to have the same level of practice. If you can analyze the student's practice based on their body types, it would be a great support to your student from your end.

Vinyasa Yoga

You will be working on practising and building creative Vinyasa Yoga Sequences starting from beginner to advanced levels and completely modified Vinyasa Yoga classes for different needs.

These Vinyasa Yoga Classes are practised so that you will get different ideas in creating Vinyasa Yoga for a different level of students.

Mantra Chanting & Advance Pranayama

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training brings an introduction to the chanting of mantras. However, you might not be exploring the 'swaras' the relevance of mantras in the spiritual journey and how mantras can be part of the pranayama practice journey.

During advanced training, you are exploring some advanced pranayama practices.

Yoga Darshana Studies

You must have learnt about the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Pancha Koshas, Chakras and Nadis during your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

During 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, we would like to explore some really significant aspects of Yoga Darshana.

Study of the Vedas & Upanishads

An extensive study of Mahavakyas from the Upanishads with an emphasis on the Upanishad stories.

Yoga Nidra

You will be practising traditional Yoga Nidra techniques in detail to strengthen the ability to cultivate 'Sattva'.

Yoga Nidra helps you advance your practices while assisting you in your teaching skills.

Bhagavad Gita

A deeper study of Bhagavad-Gita focusing on Guna-traya i.e. Sattva, Rajas and Tamas, along with psychological narration of Bhagavad-Gita.

Yoga Anatomy

Asana-focused Structural Yoga Anatomy helps understand students' abilities and limitations and adapt your teaching accordingly.

Tantra

An advanced study of Tantra and its practical application based on the traditional texts on Tantra.

This study includes all the five major traditions of Tantra, their origin, History and practices with special emphasis on Dasha Maha Vidya.

Mudras

A detailed study and practice of Mudras. We will be exploring the details of the practice of mudras in meditations and Pranayamas.

  • Why do you have a special fee for Indians?
The intent here is not to discriminate based on nationality. We have been trying to spread Yoga to the young generation in India. However, for many reasons, there is still a reluctance to take Yoga practice seriously. One of the hurdles is also due to the economical viability of Yoga classes in India. There are lesser Yoga studios and shalas compared to the west. Therefore, we are keeping the prices as low as possible to people who earn here in India so that they can also get into the mainstream of Yoga practices.
